Ararat UNIDO RECP Last Green Club Took Place on 18 of December 2015
gd

The last workshop in the frames of UNIDO RECP Green Club in Ararat city took place on 18th of December, 2015 which was called to present the Action Plan for SMEs in Ararat. The Green club members were presented the development of Action Plan by elaboration, screening and definition of RECP options on energy, water conservation, reduction of waste volume and/or its pollutant load, input material conservation, waste minimization, chemical efficient and responsible use, hazardous waste minimization, emissions reduction for developing an action plan.

An Incentive for SMEs to go Green: the main aim of any businessman is to get high profits and the incentive here is to use RECP methodologies to increase product competitiveness following the world environmental and food safety requirements which affect consumers’ product choices. The companies reaching higher production standards get green certificates, green labelling thus they are more preferable by the consumers.

Preparing an Individual Action Plan for Business: the RECP Green Club member organizations need to know the last steps for developing individual Action Plans for their businesses as it is a process that helps to focus in an idea and decide what steps are needed to achieve goals.

The Action Plan must be based on RECP already learnt options during all six Green Club sessions regarding the effective resource use, environmentally friendly production, cleaner production, waste management, economic and financial savings and wise use of material resources.

Action Plans were distributed to the SMEs in Dilijan Green Clubs to identify and fill the Plan for each of the business they are working in, identifying key aspects of RECP, and required actions to be taken.
